We talked to Peter “JR” Wasilewski, saxophonist for the legendary ska group Less Than Jake today. Topics discussed were:  horn maintenance, tour hijinks and the band’s future plans. Mr. Wasilewski is a pretty funny guy with a bit of a potty-mouth. He called us from his Connecticut mansion, where he was wearing no pants. Check out the band’s music here and here.

This past weekend DJ and I ventured into the “Big Apple” (via train) to interview vocalist, vibraphonist, songwriter and sometimes guitarist of the band A Big Yes and a small no, Kevin Kendrick. We met at the Cake Shop, which was an OK establishment but honestly I’ve had better, so please excuse the background noise. Kevin is a great guy and despite our abundant technical difficulties gave us a super-duper interview.
