We’re Barely Still Alive
In response to Roy’s previous article on the massive Hadron Collider, I post this. We’re all going to die.
There was another article that was apparently pulled from the Telegraph in England called “How a Little Bang Killed the Big Bang”. I’m really not ok with any sort of “little bang” going on anywhere near this fucking thing. And melted wires?! What the hell is going on?
I’ve read a ton of conflicting reports about it. My first post was going to note that they won’t actually start colliding protons or whatever the hell they’re doing until November. Then, I read it would be down until late 2009. Now I’m reading about melted wires and exploding 30 ton transformers (that’s 600,000 lbs).
Let us now take a minute to remember the death of Doc Ock in Spiderman 2.
